Semolina, the coarse, purified wheat middling of durum wheat, is used in a wide variety of foods from pastas to cereals to puddings... to sweet pounds cakes. 

Revani is such a cake; it is whipped together, baked and then soaked in an aromatic syrup to yield a light and fluffy dessert. 

Note: recipe contains wheat and eggs.

Can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 days. Requires refrigeration after that.
