Yes, melomakarona - or honey cookies - are traditionally made during the winter holiday season. Soft, moist melomakarona are made with a hint of cognac, soaked in a thicker, honey-based syrup and topped with cinnamon and chopped walnuts to complete this deliciously delicate cookie.
